Greetings to a fellow nerd! You can't imagine how much I can relate to you, even the fact that you prefer crochet over knitting is totally like me.
I am loving your podcast and was very exctied today that you have another one out! Your podcast is really original because I've found plenty of yarn or crafty casts, and plenty of nerdy casts but yours is the first one that combines both my loves.
So please, please, please keep up the great work, it's gotten me through the last couple days of work in a much better spirit.
P.S. My nerdy confession is that I don't have kids yet but I love to read books from the children's section. My favorite books are from either there or the YA section. Maybe it's that they are so much simpler in nature than the adult books, and it makes it a lot easier to get away from it all.
Oh, and I too have a favored book from my youth, it is called "Rose Daughter" by Robin McKinley. It's a beauty and the beast retelling that is really dear to my heart as I've always felt like a misfit and her version of beauty is like that as well. It's so well loved that I call it my "comfort book" and read it the night before my wedding to calm my nerves.
