Time To Change......

As you have all noticed, it has been a while since I got a podcast out on the airwaves. The past two months of "silence" have not been by choice....but the next 6 weeks or so will be.

Those of you who have been so kind in listening to the podcast and taking a look at my blog posts are well aware that my time management is not terrific. Over the past few months, the craziness of life has really thrown me for a loop, and my publishing activities are what have suffered most. Changes with kid schedules, new job and commute schedule, picking up contract work, tackling fitness classes, and overall lack of inspiration, have all contributed to my podcasters-block.

Most of us hit those moments of self-doubt, sometimes more than once, and question "what do I want to be when I grow up." For me....this has been a prevalent question in my personal life. I have reached a point in my career where I don't have the drive and ambition to take on the world like I did in my 20s; my job is just a job, but my life is something separate. And with that new realization, I am figuring out what I want my LIFE to be. And this includes what I publish via a blog and/or podcast. Deep inside I know I want it to be more than it has been, but haven't figured out the details of what that means or how to do it.

So thank you.......most importantly.......for sticking out the silent times with me. Thank you for your chats on Twitter, the repinning fun on Pinterest, and the occassional comments on Ravelry. The next few weeks I will be planning out podcast episodes, and see if I can get ahead of the curve and provide more interesting and relevant content - please feel free to let me know if there is anything YOU want to hear about. The Ravelry group will remain in effect, as will the Twitter-ness that I have come to rely on every day. What may actually increase, is the frequency of blog posts.....which will be done via the Posterous blog (link). Basically.....it's time to Buck Up Little Camper, and Get A Grip!
